At Living Waters Midwifery, we provide evidence-based home birth care for healthy, low-risk pregnancies throughout the Tampa Bay area. Our goal is to combine the safety of professional midwifery care with the comfort, familiarity, and peace of giving birth in your own environment.

Home birth is about more than where your baby is born. It's about receiving personalized care, building a trusting relationship with your midwife, and having the time and support to make informed decisions throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey.

Signature Home Birth Package

Investment: $8,500

Our Signature Home Birth Package provides comprehensive midwifery care from your first prenatal visit through your postpartum recovery.

Your package includes:

• Comprehensive prenatal care with home visits throughout your pregnancy

• Routine prenatal laboratory coordination and referrals as needed

• Ongoing education, birth planning, and informed decision-making support

• On-call availability beginning at 37 weeks until your baby is born

• Continuous midwifery care during labor and birth in your home

• Birth supplies and standard medications routinely carried by your midwife for home birth

• Immediate care for both you and your baby after birth

• Newborn assessment, including weight, measurements, and routine newborn evaluation

• Newborn screening collection and coordination, hearing screen referral, and congenital heart disease screening

• Breastfeeding support and assistance with the first feeding

• Two postpartum home visits to monitor healing, recovery, newborn growth, and feeding

• Ongoing support throughout your pregnancy and postpartum period

Is Home Birth Right for You?

Home birth is a safe option for many healthy, low-risk pregnancies. During your prenatal care, we'll carefully monitor both you and your baby, discuss your individual health history, and help determine whether home birth continues to be an appropriate choice throughout your pregnancy.

Should circumstances change, we'll guide you through your options and coordinate care with local hospitals and specialists when needed. Your safety and your baby's well-being are always our highest priorities.

One of my favorite things about midwifery is that I don't just meet you when labor begins. We spend months getting to know one another through prenatal visits, answering questions, preparing for birth, and building trust. By the time your baby arrives, you'll know the person caring for you, and I'll know you, your family, and your birth goals.

That relationship doesn't end after birth. We'll continue caring for you during the postpartum period, supporting your recovery, answering questions, and helping you settle into life with your newest family member.
