Birth Workers Skills Day

It is important for birth workers, including midwives, doulas, nurses, and anyone supporting families in the birth setting, to have a strong community to lean on, learn from, and grow alongside.

That is why I am hosting a Birth Workers Skills Day for anyone interested in joining us.

We will spend the afternoon working through common, and some less common, birth scenarios to sharpen our skills, build confidence, and have a little fun in the process. The goal is not just to practice, but to learn from one another, share experience, and support each other.

This calling is incredibly rewarding, but it can also be taxing. I believe it is important not only to stay current and confident in our skills so the families we serve can receive the best and safest care possible, but also to remind one another that we are not doing this work alone. We have a whole community around us.

Bring any training tools, models, equipment, or supplies you would like to practice with or share. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
